This is part of the ‘Horizon series’ of oil paintings which captures the changing colours of the horizon over the course of a few evenings at different times but always from the same position.

This artwork is of the hilltop village of Mougins in the Alpes-Maritimes department of south eastern France, located just north of Cannes.
