Delivery Terms & Conditions

  1. We have a variety of shipping delivery methods (or you can choose to collect in person) dependent upon the item/s purchased. Shipping is based upon the Total Weight (dead weight and volumetric weight) and/or Total Price of the items from one or more categories. We strive to find the best rate and service available and therefore Carriers are subject to change if price and service levels are not met.
  2. We have stated particular Carriers but we may choose to use an alternative Carrier to that stated but still use the same service. Eg. 24 hour UPS or 24 hour Parcelforce
  3. Prices are quoted on the Total Weight for each item or Total Weight for a combination of items from one or more Product categories or Total Price (excluding on sale products) for a combination of items from one or more Product categories. Refer to the tables below for prices per category. If purchasing items from different categories, the shipping price is calculated automatically based upon the Total Weight and/or Total Price and may not appear in the tables below but will appear in the Cart and Checkout pages.
  4. We aim to fulfill and ship orders on the day we receive confirmation of your purchase or within 1 day of receiving confirmation. Should the possibilty of despatch exceeds 1 day, you will be emailed a notification with the expected despatch day and the reason.
  5. Deliveries will be made by the Carrier to the address stipulated in your order. You must ensure that someone is present to accept delivery excluding Royal Mail non-signed for Goods or Hermes postable items.
  6. If we are not able to deliver your Goods within 30 days of the date of your order, we shall notify you by email to arrange another date for delivery.
  7. We may deliver the goods in installments if the goods are not available at the same time for delivery.
  8. Delivery charges for a combination of Greeting Cards and/or Notecards and/or Metalwork and/or Paintings and/or Drawings and/or Prints are based upon Total Weight (dead weight or cubic weight) and Total Price (excluding on sale products) therefore the following tables are used only as a guide.
  9. For Free Shipping, we reserve the right to send orders via an alternative Carrier as may be shown in the Cart or Checkout.
  10. For all products (except Metalwork as stated) the courier to NI, Highlands, Isles and Man will likely be Hermes rather than the courier stated in the Checkout. 
  11. DPD and UPS stipulate their system decides if the delivery is 1 day or 2 days depending on the postcode you supply for delivery. We have no control over this nor have we been supplied with a list of these postcodes when we have requested them.

Collect Goods in Person

  1. You can collect in person from Chesterfield, S40 2DP Derbyshire if you choose that option at Checkout.
  2. Upon order completion, you will receive an email with the collection address. You will need to contact Bespoke Folk to arrange the collection day and time prior to collection as if you fail to do so, you may be turned away and asked to reschedule collection.

Metalwork

  1. Please refer to individual Shipping price in the Cart or Checkout due to each item having differing weights and dimensions, which are subject to volumetric charges.
  2. We use a variety of Carriers depending on the item purchased and shipping destination.
  3. Service is based on working days (weekends and holidays are not working days) and can range from a next day delivery to a 2-4 day delivery. You will be notified via email on the despatch of your order and the Carrier service. Tracking information will be included if provided by the Carrier.
  4. We have no control over any courier delivery schedule or their stated service after despatching your order.

Damaged Goods

Because you are buying the Goods online and the delivery of Goods are made by various Carriers, if there is any damage to your Goods upon receipt, you must follow this process:

  1. If the Goods are being delivered by Carrier service and there is noticeable damage to the packaging then please advise the Courier driver then advise us via email with photos
  2. If the Goods are being delivered by Royal Mail and there is noticeable damage to the packaging then please advise us via email with photos
  3. Take photographs of the Goods before unpacking the Goods so we can use this as evidence as required.
  4. Unpackage the Goods and take photographs of the Goods and the damage.
  5. Email these photographs along with any more details to
  6. We will then be able to advise how to return the Goods and will provide the necessary documentation for the Goods to be returned.
  7. If we have more stock of the damaged product/s, we will send you replacements.

Changes to an Order

  1. Changing delivery address information is possible after your order has been placed, but only before you receive the Order Despatch email. After you have received the Order Despatch email then no changes can be made. Email 
  2. Once your order has been placed, no products can be added to your order. You will need to place a new order. Depending on the contents of the new order, there may be the possibilty of consolidating multiple orders together so as to not incur additional Carrier costs. Please email prior to a new order.
  3. Change of delivery method may be possible before your order is despatched. Charges will be applicable for upgrading to an express service be it Royal Mail or courier.

Cancelling an Order and Returns

Because you are buying the Goods online, you have a right of cancellation. If you do, these are the terms which apply:

  1. You must email that you wish to cancel your order.
  2. If you have contacted us before delivery of your Goods but after despatch, though your order will have been cancelled, delivery cannot be interrupted. You can refuse any delivery of cancelled orders or accept and return them.
  3. You have 14 days upon receipt of the Goods to cancel your order.
  4. In any event, you may not cancel orders for artworks (this includes greeting cards, notecards, prints, art, metalwork or other works) commissioned by you.
  5. You have 28 days after receipt of the Goods to return the order. You must adhere to the following:
    4.1 ensure both Goods and packaging are in their original condition, without damage to the Goods;
    4.2 Goods are securely wrapped;
    4.3 include your proof or purchase with the Goods;
    4.4 the return cost of shipping shall be borne by you. It is advisable to obtain proof of sending or tracking as Goods returned and not received by us will not be refunded.
  6. After we have received the Goods, we will refund the original method you used to purchase. This will be the full purchase price and delivery charge of the order, provided you return the full order within 14 days.
  7. If you do not return the Goods to us, if you return products outside of our returns policy or if you do not have proof of purchase, we are unable to process a refund, so please keep your receipt or order confirmation.
  8. We are under no obligation to collect or recover Goods from you, but if we do, our costs will be payable by you.
  9. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Which products cannot be returned
The following products will not be eligible for refund (unless faulty or not as described):

  1. Products you received over 28 days ago.
  2. In any event, you may not cancel orders for artworks (this includes greeting cards, notecards, prints, art, metalwork or other works) commissioned by you.
  3. Product that have been opened or unsealed.
  4. Greeting cards, notecard packs or signed prints without their original protective packaging (provided they were initially sent in protective packaging).
  5. Products or protective packaging in poor condition.
