Heavy duty hanging basket plant stand
This heavy duty solid metal hanging basket stand is designed so it can be taken apart and stored as the largest section of the 3 is just over 1 metre tall.
The frame is made using four 12mm solid steel bars which are held together by circles so it can flex slightly in the wind but retains strength and is therefore very strong. The top and bottom ring stops expansion and the middle ring stops compression of the four bars.
Standing at 2.2 metres tall (ground to highest point in the arch of the arm) with quite wide arches to hold larger 35cm to 40cm baskets.
The sections are slotted together via square tube inserted into the other square tube so again this is a very strong design.
The 4 arms are different shapes and heights so you can decide how you want the stand to look with baskets. As the arms are removable and interchangeable and can even be crossed over each other making it a narrower hanger. This is if you wanted to hang bird feeders during the winter rather than baskets. Hand-formed open hook rings are on the arm ends, these are open so as to allow for baskets which have closed fixing rings.
To offer stability, the stand has flayed legs with tube sections welded onto the inside legs, to help hide the 50cm metal stake pegs, which are used to help stabilise the frame in case of wind.
