3 metre tall fence supports with basket finials
A request for 10 x 3 metre tall fence supports with cage finials with the idea that they were to be installed in a bricked planter so a climber can grow and hide the wooden fence behind the planter.
The supports were designed so welded mesh panels can be fixed onto the supports at 3 points using metal brackets, the mesh is sandwiched to the bracket with a plate and 2 bolts. I designed the base to have 2 sleeves with fixing points so the sleeves can be moved to the best position on the brickwork.
To make the shipping cheaper and fixing easier, I made the support in 2 pieces with a sleeve welded to the top section so the bottom is fixed first then the top fits over the base.
Made from 14mm solid bar with a 70mm basket welded to the top.
